Mini Woolies at Mancel College

Mancel College is the first school in Queensland to offer a Mini Woolies space, supporting the education of students with disabilities through a hands-on learning experience.

The Mini Woolies has been established to simulate the operations of an actual Woolworths supermarket, with baskets for fresh food, shelving for groceries, ticketing, signage and Woolworths branded uniforms students can wear to create an immersive educational experience. Using the registers, students can also learn to scan grocery items and simulate a sale.

Thank you to Woolworths and Fujitsu for supporting this wonderful initiative.
