Meet the executives behind Language Disorder Australia.

Mark Yeowell
BSc., MA
Chief Executive Officer and Executive Principal of Mancel College

Mark was appointed CEO of Language Disorder Australia in 2020, bringing with him over 25 years’ experience of educational leadership within the UK, United Arab Emirates and Australia. He believes strongly that all children and young people have the right to access quality education and support to enable them to achieve all they are capable of. Mark is passionate about building capacity within organisations and developing leadership in others to deliver outstanding education and wider services. He has strong business acumen and extensive experience in leading organisational growth and change. Mark is married with two teenage sons and is also a doctoral candidate at UNSW researching tweens early experiences in smartphone ownership.

Lisa Quinn

Head of Allied Health Services

Lisa has worked extensively in supporting children and young people to reach their full potential by supporting their speech, language and literacy abilities, and brings this expertise to lead the allied health team at Language Disorder Australia. She has worked as a Manager of Allied Health Teams, Speech Pathologist and Clinical Educator across a range of settings, including health, education, and university sectors. She is passionate about advocating for students with Language Disorder. Lisa loves spending time with her three daughters, travelling and her morning coffee.

Kerry Rule

Head of People, Culture and Corporate Operations

Kerry joined Language Disorder Australia as Head of People, Culture and Corporate Operations in 2020 and possesses expertise from a multi-faceted HR career across a diverse range of industries. She is particularly passionate about the delivery of leadership in contemporary HR; communication with influence; shaping cultures aligned with business priorities and driving HR to be agile while unleashing the potential in others. Kerry seeks to create innovative and commercially strong initiatives to underpin business growth. Her personal philosophy is to provide service and expertise with authenticity, respect and courtesy.

David Vojinov

Head of Finance and Commercial Services

David joined Language Disorder Australia in 2021 and is a senior finance executive with more than 20 years financial, commercial, and business partnering experience in a variety of industries including Aged Care, Professional Services and For Purpose Organisations. He is a Fellow of CPA and a Graduate member of Australian Institute of Company Directors. David has demonstrated the capacity to leverage strong financial and commercial acumen to formulate, articulate and bring to fruition both cost management and revenue optimisation initiatives.
