School Support Services for Verified Students

Language Disorder Australia offers a fully funded service for verified students with Language Disorder.

The program is a multidisciplinary consultative service, which aims to improve education opportunities and learning outcomes for students with disability.

Our service complements existing supports within your school. We encourage the inclusion of all key stakeholders, including school staff, family members and allied health professionals, when referring to our service.


  • State Schools: Current verification under the EAP program or a Current Awaiting Verification record in the Adjustment Information management System (AIMS) for Non-state schools – Current verification under EAP ( e.g. SLI, ASD, ID, SED, VI, HI, PI).
  • Language is primary area of concern.
  • Prep to Year 12 students.
  • Enrolled in State, Catholic and Independent schools across Queensland.

Service includes

  • Classroom observation.
  • Informal multidisciplinary assessment.
  • Consultation with school staff and key stakeholders to identify your student’s strengths and support needs.
  • Collaborative goal setting.
  • Individualised report containing strategies and recommendations to support student learning and educational outcomes.

Also available

Four-session intensive support block targeting student goals through a capacity building model for school staff.

  • Via face to face or eServices.
  • Fully funded; eligibility criteria applies.
