The Glenleighden School officially becomes Mancel College.
11 July 2022. Today The Glenleighden School officially becomes Mancel College.
The new name honours the founder of the school, the extraordinary Mancel Ellis Robinson OAM.
Mancel established the CHI.L.D Association and the School over forty years ago and was a pioneer of education and support for children and young people with Language Disorder in Australia.
As we move into a new and exciting period of growth and development both of the school and the wider organisation, this change of name ensures that our founder’s amazing vision and achievements remain central not only to our history but also to our future.
